Pet Peace of Mind Calendar Pet Photo Contest: Underway now!  Voting is open August 1st-15th.  Follow this link to vote a pet, or two or five, and help those who help Hospice of the Ozarks patients take care of their pets during difficult times.

 

 

*BENEFIT RAFFLE*: Float for Life is raffling a 30.30 Beautiful Brass Rifle with all proceeds going to Hospice of the Ozarks!  The raffle donations are $5 each.  You can donate at the Hospice of the Ozarks Administration Building or contact Ray Novak at 870-481-5777.  The winning ticket will be drawn on November 3rd, 2018. The winner must transfer the gun into their name.

 

Celebration of Life Luncheon: October 24, 2018 at first United Methodist Church 11:30am-1:00pm.  More details to come.

 

 

Surviving the Holidays: November 9, 2018 at the Donald Reynolds Library in Mountain Home from 2pm-4pm.  More details to come.

 

Caregivers Support Group: Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at the Hospice House from 1pm-3 pm.

 

Bereavement Classes: Hospice of the Ozarks provides support groups for bereaved loved ones.

 

  • Growing through Grief support group meets on Monday 1:00-3:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Fisherman Catholic Church's Christian Life Center at 249 Dyer Street, Mountain Home, AR.
  •  
  • Growing through Grief support for Tuesday evenings meets from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hospice of the Ozarks Administrative Building, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR.

 

  • Growing through Grief support group meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at Kirby & Family Funeral Home 717 Central Blvd, Bull Shoals from 2pm-4pm.
  •  
  • Compassionate Friends of the Twin Lakes Area is a support group for parents and grandparents who have lost a child. The support group also is for siblings who have suffered a loss of a sibling. This group meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:00-8:00 p.m.

 

These support groups are held by trained facilitators and are open to the community at no charge.
